she is my favorite artist today and my wife and i were captivated with this piece. everything about it was so pleasing to us. she is such a great artist in every sense and she inspires me more than any other artist. i am so privileged. thanks stuart.

man, all i draw is robots and when you think about it, in the future, things will be so nano and organically cloned that robot tech will be moot.

sketches from nowhere

when i start sketching, the best ones , i think, are the ones that have no initial direction. i start sketching with a light marker and have no idea what its going to look like. its part luck, emotion, and after you get an idea of what you want... then its a combination of using the reference you've accumulated in your brain of all the coolest things from movies, anime, etc. and adding as much of yourself as possible.

my friend, kip, and i play a game where we pick 2 total opposite entities and put them together to form one creature. this is my whale/cello combo. actual sketch is 4 inches long.
